Total Lunar Eclipse This Week - Won't Happen Again for 3 Years

Don't miss the total lunar eclipse Tuesday, something you won't see again for three years.

According to NASA, the initial phase will begin about 12:02am and the partial eclipse starts at 1:09am. That's when it will look like a bite is taken out of the moon.

As for totality, best time will be about 2:17am and should last for about 90 minutes.

We may have some cloud coverage preventing us from seeing the totality, but we could get a cloud break long enough to see it.
