While kids are already back to school, summer isn’t over, and neither is the hot weather. That means there’s still time to get a pool party in. Not surprisingly, it’s easier and better to throw a pool party in some cities than others.
Upgraded Points has come out with a list of the Best Cities in the U.S. to Throw a Backyard Pool Party. They looked at the 100 most populous cities judging them on factors like real estate, cost, and the weather, as well as cities with the most pools, sunscreen needs, and the average cost of beer, snacks, and more.
With all that in mind, Las Vegas tops the list as the best city for a pool party, scoring a 71.5 out of 100. The weather is one of the main reasons Sin City tops the list, with Vegas getting an average of only 0.2 inches of rain and 13.60% humidity from April to August.

Not going to lie, was a little surprised at most of that top ten.
As for the worst city for a pool party, that would be New York, New York, which scores a 26.3, mostly because of its lack of pools. And if they exist, you usually have to share them with a lot of people.
