Bad Wolves Donates Proceeds Of "Zombie Cover" To Dolores O'Riordan's Family

What a great story!

A few months back following the death of Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan, the band Bad Wolves released a cover of "Zombie." While the cover was actually originally supposed to include Dolores' new vocals, the band still released their version.

The cover may not be EVERYONE's thing, but for the most part it's been a big success for the band and now they're giving back!

At their show the other night, the band presented a check to O'Riordan's family for $250,000!

“It’s been our extreme honor to champion this song" the band said. “In 1994, this record sold 40 million copies worldwide. It was the soundtrack to my youth, I grew up here in Brooklyn. Today is a very special night because Dolores’ family is here with us…We want to present them with this check from the money that you guys spent on our version of the song.”

Love that! Check out video of the check presentation at the show, as well as the cover (in case you haven't heard it), below!
