Sia continues her reign as one of pop's biggest hitmakers with her brand-new single, "The Greatest," an uplifting collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, which dropped over the Labor Day weekend.
"The Greatest" was unveiled alongside the music video for the track, which features the pop star's go-to star, Maddie Ziegler, and an intricate number of dance steps. Throughout the Sia and Daniel Askill-directed clip, Maddie frees a group of children from a cage, before they all come together for a massive choreographed routine. Unfortunately, it looks like their freedom might have only been in their imaginations as the video ends with all of the kiddos behind bars once again.
The clip for the song reportedly serves as a tribute to the Orlando shooting victims as Ziegler falls to the floor with 49 dancers, symbolism for the 49 lives lost during the Pulse nightclub tragedy.
Even though the video doesn't feature K. Dot's verse, you can head over to iTunes to hear and purchase that version. Catch Sia and other chart-toppers at our iHeartRadio Music Festival, which goes down September 23rd and 24th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Click here for more information!
