Congratulations to Kenneth West, our First Responder honored for the month of January! Kenneth, a Metro police officer, was nominated by his wife Lora and son Joc. Lora wanted to recognize her husband because "he's been an officer for twenty one years. He takes pride in his work and feels it’s an honor to help the community. He was one of the officers who assisted in the aftermath of the October 1 shooting. All of the sadness and loss that he sees at work makes him appreciate his wife and four kids even more". His son wanted to recognize his father because "even though he sees bad stuff at work he comes home and loves me more because of what he sees".
