Archery Basic Class at Clark County Shooting Complex

  • Have you ever thought about learning how to shoot a bow? Now is your chance to learn at theClark County Shooting Complex Archery Range! After learning these basic skills you will have a chance to test your skills and shoot using the Genesis bow. The Genesis bow fits almost everyone's style of shooting!

  • Never shot a bow before? Learn the basics of the ancient art of archery from a ranger. All equipment will be provided, please do not bring your own equipment. Please wear closed-toe footwear and bring a hat, sunscreen, and water. This program is open to anyone aged nine or older. This event has a limited number of participants, so please call 702-486-3511 to reserve a spot.

  • In 1482, da Vinci moved to Milan, deciding to focus on the study of sciences. Come learn about his contributions to the city, and discover hidden places tourists usually don't know about.

  • Walk with a Red Rock Audubon Society birding expert and a Wetlands Park nature guide, and learn more about the birds found in and around the Las Vegas Wash. Get to know other bird enthusiasts and learn about birding resources. Be prepared to walk up to two miles. We’ll meet at the Picnic Cafe. Binoculars available to borrow. Advance signup required. Ages 10+.


Sunday Storytime at Clark County Wetlands Park

Shalom Bollywood at Windmill Library

  • Full of unexpected delights, this film revives the all-singing, all-dancing, cheeky feel of a Bollywood production. It highlights the Jewish stars that dominated early Indian cinema when Hindu and Muslim women could not appear on screen. From the silent era through Bollywood’s golden age, Indian cinema icons share their highs and lows, and describe how their careers pushed the boundaries of Indian-Jewish culture. 


2019 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Gospel Fest at Victory Missionary Baptist Church

  • This year's Gospelfest is ministry with a purpose and is designed to encourge hope. Living the Dream of Dr. Martin Luther King is our focus as we promote anti-drugs, and anti-suicide through messages of inspiration, love and persistence.


Full Moon Night Hike at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park

  • 4:00pm-6:00pm
  • 6375 Nevada 159, Blue Diamond, NV 89004
  • Join park staff on a ranger-led hike to the moon-lit heights of Sandstone Canyon, and beneath the star-lit eaves of the park’s three-hundred year old ash tree grove! Participants will glimpse what creatures come out at night, and see how nightfall transforms the Spring Mountain escarpment. This hike is about two miles long, and will cover rocky, uneven terrain. Please dress appropriately, wear closed-toed shoes, and bring water and a flashlight. This hike is appropriate for children ages seven and older. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are on a 6 foot or shorter leash and under control at all times. This event does not require a sign up or reservation and will start promptly at 4 p.m.
