Color Me Kind 5K at Cornerstone Park

  • 5K Run: $35, or $40 day of; 1 Mile Walk: $20

  • Help spread kindness with a splash of color with the return of our Color Me Kind 5K. The paint run allows participants to be doused with a different color at each kilometer to create a kaleidoscope of fun. Everyone receives their own color packets, giving them a chance to sprinkle a little more kindness along the route. All fitness levels are welcome. Ages 5 and up.

Archery Basic Class at Clark County Shooting Complex

  • Have you ever thought about learning how to shoot a bow? Now is your chance to learn at theClark County Shooting Complex Archery Range! After learning these basic skills you will have a chance to test your skills and shoot using the Genesis bow. The Genesis bow fits almost everyone's style of shooting!


Storytime Train at Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City

  • Bring the kids (regardless of age) and have a fun time riding the train, coloring, doing a craft, and listening to a children's story.  Purchase regular tickets to ride the train and join our Storytime Crew in the dining car of the train, on the regularly scheduled train runs.  We furnish the coloring pages and markers, craft materials, and the story.  Sit with your kids, have fun, take photos or videos, and watch the beautiful desert scenery from the comfort of our train.

Henderson Stroll 'n Roll at Henderson Multigenerational Center

  • Henderson Stroll ‘n Roll is Henderson's spin on the Ciclovia phenomenon that’s sweeping the globe. Originally founded in Bogota, Colombia, it’s where roads are closed to motorized traffic, allowing the community to come together and enjoy the streets on bicycles, skates, skateboards or simply on foot. The car-free street fair is packed with activities for all ages. Along the route enjoy music; live performances; interactive demonstrations; and health, fitness and bicycle vendors.

  • Museum curators will talk Nov. 17 about mining, Nevada’s minerals & semi-precious stones, and the history of jewelry from ancient to modern. Never-before-displayed museum collections will be shown. Silent auctions of rocks, minerals, fossils, jewelry, and designer handbags to carry away your loot will be offered.


Walking In Balance: A Native American Cultural Adventure at Centennial Hills Library

  • Ann Vannoy and Cree Medicine Man Sean Wei Mah (featured in the TV miniseries "Frontier") share songs and stories from the vibrant Native American culture. Learn about "Walking in Balance" and our sacred connections to nature, and discover what "Spirit Animal" stands for. There will also be songs on the Native American flute, handmade drum, and sacred rattle. You might even learn a song yourself!


West Coast Short Track Championship at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

  • This will be an afternoon of fun and exercise as you walk or run at your own pace. Bring your kids, your pets and your neighbors to meet the afternoon fun crowd down in The Village. Along the running paths, there will be gifts and many fun things to make this walk very exciting. Feel free to have your family or friends sponsor or support a charity of your choice. Bring a sweater for the Rescue Mission sweater drive!


Jewelry Making at Nevada State Museum

  • Linda Higgins Stanley, an accomplished jewelry designer, will teach this class in the Education Room at the museum. The price includes jewelry-making tools for you take to take home, along with your choice of stones to make a sterling silver lariat-style necklace and pair of earrings to keep.

Las Vegas Camerata Orchestra at Winchester Cultural Center Theater

  • Founded in 1986, the Camerata Orchestra has a long history of welcoming guest performers. For this performance, the guest artists are Dmytro Nehrych, Yestin Griffith, Belinda Boswell, Robert Taras, Ryan Cardenas, Michelle Lee, and Marcelino Chavez. The Camerata Orchestra’s musical stylings are both musically adept and wonderfully symphonic. Together they will perform romantic masterpieces from the history of music including Beethoven, Mendelson, Chopin, Sarasate, Paganini and modern composers like Bragatto, and Piazola.

PJ5K at Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

  • The 5K course takes runners and walkers through the Glittering Lights holiday light display at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Glittering Lights is Nevada's largest drive-through Christmas light show, with millions of LED lights and hundreds of sparkling displays. Individuals, kids in strollers, and teams are welcome.
