Yuck - that's HOT! The "World's Largest Thermometer" in Baker, California showed a temperature of 120°F yesterday.
The thermometer was built in 1991 and is 134 feet tall, to commemorate the hottest recorded temperature in nearby Death Valley (134°F). The thermometer was also designed to display that record 134°F temperature, if Baker ever gets that hot. Let's hope it doesn't ever show that temperature!
