"Quilts For Vegas" Display Honors 1 October Victims

Today at the Clark County Government Center, a new display was unveiled in honor of the victims of the 1 October shooting. The special exhibit features quilts that were donated by quilters from the Las Vegas valley as well around the world. The "Quilts For Vegas" drive was started by the Las Vegas Modern Quilt Guild and more than 250 quilts were made to help bring comfort and healing to those affected by the shooting. The quilts will be on display in the rotunda at the Clark County Government Center from now until July 20th.

If you or someone you know were impacted by the 1 October shooting, please reach out to the Vegas Strong Resiliency Center at www.VegasStrongRC.org, or by phone at (702) 455-2433 (AIDE) or toll-free at (833) 299-2433.
