Las Vegas Strip Getting Its First Zipline, Now Traffic To Be Affected

A few months ago it was announced that the Linq would be installing the first zipline on the Las Vegas Strip.  Now that plan is moving ahead and traffic around the Linq will be affected. As the Fly Linq is being installed, watch out for this area as you head north on the Strip:

  • Closed through September 15: Northbound lane of Las Vegas Blvd, running in front of The Linq Promenade (the adjacent traffic lane will also be closed from 1:00am to 9:00am during this time)

The new Fly Linq will feature 10 side-by-side ziplines and will be able to have all 10 riders launch at one time.  A new outdoor shopping and eating area will also be added between the Flamingo and Linq.

While this is the first zipline on the Strip, it's certainly not the first zipline in or around Las Vegas. Locals and guests can zip down the VooDoo Zipline at the Rio All-Suites Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, SlotZilla Zip Line at the Fremont Street Experience, and Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon in Boulder City.
