Shane Hawkins is hitting the road with Chevy Metal, a classic rock covers band his late father Taylor Hawkins founded in 2013. In addition to the young drummer, the lineup also consists of bassist Wiley Hodgden, who co-founded the band with Taylor, and guitarist Brent Woods.
Before his death in 2022, the Foo Fighters drummer regularly toured with Chevy Metal and was the band's singer. This isn't the first time Shane has performed with the band. He sat behind the kit for a few shows in 2023 and toured with them in 2024.
The tour kicks of July 12 in Menlo Park, California and wraps up September 5 in Las Vegas. See a full list of Chevy Metal's tour dates below.
