Jon Bon Jovi recently shared his opinion on son Jake Bongiovi and his fiancée Milly Bobby Brown's engagement.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the 62-year-old rock icon approves of the relationship and is very excited for the pair's future. He sat down with The Times on Saturday (April 13) to discuss the engagement and divulge his thoughts on his future daughter-in-law.
"I've gotten to know her in the last year, she works really hard, and she and Jake will grow together in their own way. It is an accelerated version of what I went through 40 years ago and I think, with the support of family around them, they're gonna be great together."
Bongiovi, 21, and Brown, 20, got engaged in April 2023 and are currently in the wedding planing process. During a March interview with Entertainment Tonight, Brown mentioned how blessed she felt to be able to plan the special day with her best friend.
"It's been really exciting. I'm very, very blessed and very lucky."
In addition to doting on his son and Millie Bobby Brown's relationship, Jon shared a bit of his own love story with wife Dorothea Hurley whom he met in high school in the 1980s and has been married to ever since.
"She sat next to me in history class. We're from the same place, we're the same age, and she was with me when I had less than zero, so we went on the journey together. I know I get to be the poster boy for happy marriages in music, but Bono's been married to Ali [Hewson] as long, Bruce has been married to Patti [Scialfa] almost as long. I'm not the only one."
A wedding date and venue have yet to be reported as Bongiovi and Brown enjoy their last remaining moments of pre-marital bliss!
