The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is excited to welcome GRAMMY® Award-winning band The Black Keys back to The Chelsea on Sunday, Jan. 19. The rock duo will take The Chelsea stage for the third time, having most recently performed at the resort in November 2014 and February 2011.
Formed in 2001 by two childhood friends in Akron, Ohio, Dan Auerbach (guitar/vocals) and Patrick Carney (drums), The Black Keys have released nine studio albums, two EPs and one live album. The duo found worldwide acclaim with their 2010 “Brothers” album, which was DOUBLE PLATINUM-certified in the U.S. and Canada. Their 2011 “El Camino” album went DOUBLE PLATINUM and multi-PLATINUM in seven countries.
In June 2019, The Black Keys released their ninth studio album, “Let’s Rock” and Associated Press says, “The Black Keys are rock royalty and to the relief of many, they aren’t quite ready to relinquish their reign.” The critically acclaimed record debuted at number four on Billboard’s Top 200 chart.
