As one of the founders of Monty Python’s Flying Circus, Cleese was key in creating a comedic movement, co-writing and starring in both the iconic TV series and such hugely successful films as Monty Python and the Holy Grail andThe Life of Brian. Following Python, Cleese expanded his fan base as Basil Fawlty in the BBC’s highly popular Fawlty Towers and as a star and co-writer of the film A Fish Called Wanda and its sequel, Fierce Creatures. These two nights in the 1,600-seat Encore Theater are sure to feature unforgettable stories, exceptional wit and, of course, laughter, courtesy of a genuine comedy legend.
