93.1 The Mountain is proud to present ‘Paint The Mountain Green’ – a Go Mount Charleston cleanup initiative with our partners Heineken, Smith’s, PT’s Taverns, Green Valley Grocery, Lee Canyon, NV Energy, and Republic Services to support the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area.
1 million visitors rely on the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area to escape the heat and noise of the Las Vegas valley each year. After 12 years of collecting over 50 TONS of litter that these visitors have left behind, Southern Nevada Conservancy’s Go Mt Charleston Team continues to work toward finding a better way to help visitors dispose of their trash and pet waste properly.
On September 28th our group of volunteers will work with the Southern Nevada Conservancy to clean up Mount Charleston recreation areas.
Then we’ll have live music, food and Heineken as we celebrate the installation of new trash and recycling receptacles made possible by Heineken sales in the Las Vegas valley. Learn more at gomtcharleston.com.
