Back in 2007 The Killers had a headlining set at Glastonbury Festival in the UK and to no fault of their own they had multiple technical issues due to sound restrictions.
Now 12 years later the guys took the stage again and it was certainly a case of redemption! Not only did the guys put on a stellar set, they also broke festival records! How so? Their set was the loudest in the festival’s history, according to Martin Audio, the company behind the Pyramid Stage’s speakers.
Wow! NME reports that "the band’s Saturday night set hit 106 decibels for fans in front of the stage, but thanks to technological improvements and in-time monitoring of wind speed and temperature still remained under the 65 decibel restriction for off-site sound levels."
