Honoring First Responders: Congratulations Mike Cornella!

Congratulations to Mike Cornella, our First Responder honored for the month of December! Mike, a paramedic who has been with AMR for over 10 years, was nominated by his wife Kate. Kate wanted to recognize her husband because "he is our hero and a truly selfless man. My husband and I have 7 children, 4 of whom he legally adopted as his own when their biological father walked out of their lives. He works long shifts and worked both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year but always manages to make time for his family despite his hectic work schedule and long hours away from home. This past year was very difficult for our family after a garage/house fire displaced us last January. Despite all of the trying circumstances, he always has a smile on his face and puts in extra shifts and overtime when needed at work. He is truly our family's hero and deserves to be honored for his service to the community and our family. We are very proud of him".
