The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will welcome British music icons Duran Duran to The Chelsea for a two-night engagement on Friday, Feb. 22, and Saturday, Feb. 23.

“Duran Duran have been at the forefront of the music industry for decades, and we are excited to have this iconic band return to The Chelsea in 2019,” said Fedor Banuchi, vice president of entertainment at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
The band formed in Birmingham, England at the center of the city’s vibrant music scene in the early eighties and quickly became a household name around the world. Four decades later, Duran Duran have sold over 100 million records, had 18 American hit singles, 20 UK chart toppers, won innumerable awards for their continued contribution to music, and perform to huge concert audiences around the globe.
Singer Simon Le Bon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes, bassist John Taylor and drummer Roger Taylor fuse pop music, art, technology, and fashion with a sense of style and confidence all their own. Never losing the desire to innovate, they have proven themselves timeless and have always remained ahead of the curve.
Their most recent album, Paper Gods, entered the Billboard Top 10, making it the band’s highest-charting release in 22 years. It has been hailed by critics and fans alike as their best body of work in two decades.
