RHCP rocked their own rendition of "Just What I Needed" in Singapore just last week, but this past weekend at Ohana Festival, they covered The Cars again and this time added in the presence of the all mighty Eddie Vedder for an extra bolt of energy to an absolutely awesome performance.
The surprise performance came during the Peppers’ headlining set and featured a cover of The Cars classic “Just What I Needed” once again, and instead of a solemn, melancholy rendition... their onstage collab w/ Ed Ved was a serious celebration of the life of Ric Ocasek. Watch below-
