Do you know what to do during an earthquake? After the events on July 4th and 5th, many Las Vegas valley residents are realizing earthquakes in our area may be rare but are certainly possible. Do you know what to do in the event of a large earthquake? The City of Las Vegas posted a great article with many safety tips. Remember to DROP, COVER and HOLD ON during an earthquake:
DROP to the ground (before the earthquake drops you!),
Take COVER by getting under a sturdy desk or table, and
HOLD ON to your shelter until the shaking stops.
